Our Fibre Optical Attenuators are used to reduce the strength of a Fibre Optic signal. A fibre optics attenuator is a passive device used to reduce the amplitude of a light signal without significantly changing the waveform itself. Fibre Optical Attenuators have a working wavelength range in which they can absorb the light. They should not reflect the light since that could cause unwanted back reflection in the fibre optics system.
